I’m curious to know what people’s initial reaction is to the boy name Emek.
It is not a popular name at all and there is something about it I love. But I have never heard it until I saw it online the other day (it’s not even on this site). What are your thoughts? Is it too unusual?
I have two other boys. [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] here on earth and [name_m]Silas[/name_m] who passed two years ago. So picking a name this time around had been HARD to say the least.
I would probably think it was Turkish? I also found the Igbo name Emeka.
It’s actually Hebrew like my other two boys 
I quite like it, if I’m pronouncing it right. emm eck. It reminds me of other names I like, like Emeric or [name_m]Emrys[/name_m]. So that makes it seem quite accessible to me
Similar to [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]. I think it works.
I like it a lot. It’s a nice fit with [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_m]Silas[/name_m], if you don’t mind the matching initial thing. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss
