I saw a street named this and thought it definitively has that “familiar but not quite average” feeling. Nameberry hasn’t added it yet either. I thought if [name]Caroline[/name] and Pomeline work, why not Timberline? Is it the company connection? I believe they make boots.
Timberline, thoughts?
I don’t care for it myself. I do like [name]Timber[/name], and I like many names that end in -line. But imo the two don’t mesh well as a name. Sorry.
It reminds me too much of wood and the singer Timbaland, which is of course not the same. Maybe a child can pull it off.
It sounds cool, but it kind of sounds like a resort to me.
I think of boots.
What about [name]Cymbeline[/name]? It’s the same sounds, but has a literary connection and not the unpleasant word [name]Timber[/name] in there.
Personally, I wouldn’t use it. [name]May[/name] I suggest [name]Tamerlane[/name].
The shoe company is Timberland
[name]Don[/name]'t like Timberline but there is a street near me named Timberlane, always thought it was pretty
[name]Timber[/name] by itself adorable for girl
Isn’t “timber” what used to be shouted when trees were being felled? Might still be.
I think there are more attractive names out there than this one.
Reminds me of the rapper Timbaland.
A street name is where I got it from! I thought the “timber” part reminded me of a forest and I didn’t even know/think about the rapper. I probably should Google names from now on. Timberland is the shoe company! Thanks, all you guys/gals! I just was curious about reactions. I really like [name]Tamerlane[/name], it’s meaning isn’t the greatest though. [name]Cymbeline[/name] is definitely up my alley it’s just I can’t help how similar the beginning is to “[name]Kim[/name]” and I really can’t stand that name b/c someone I know.
Well, from what I understand, [name]Cymbeline[/name] is pronounced sim-beh-line or maybe sim-beh-leen…so not like [name]Kim[/name]. Does that make it better for you?
