Hey! I wanted to know what you thought of two first names. Common examples of the second first name would include “[name_f]Rose[/name_f]”, “[name_f]Marie[/name_f]” and “[name_f]Beth[/name_f]”. I think certain names go well with them while others sound best on their own.
If you had three children and two of them had two first names but the other one only had one, would that be child’s name sound incomplete? Or would that child feel left out? What’s your perspective on it?
Yeah, with certain names, I do like the two first names. I really like [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].
And yeah, I personally would feel a bit weird if I had three kids, and only two of them had one first name. I wouldn’t really want to have two kids with two first names, just to avoid this issue.
I think it may depend on the length of the single name and whether or not you shorten it to an everyday nickname.
So if you had
DD1. [name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
DD2. [name_f]Bella[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
Maybe you could get away with using just one 3 or 4 syllable name for a 3rd child, I.e:
DD3. [name_f]Lilyanna[/name_f]
However it may depend on the styles of the names given as [name_f]Lilyanna[/name_f] is kind of a 2in1 name anyway IYSWIM.
Im not sure if names like [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] or [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] would work as well?
If the people with two first names were girls and the other was a boy, I think that’d be fine. Otherwise, as someone suggested, maybe do a longer name, like [name_f]Annalise[/name_f].
