Maybe some thoughts on what pops in your head when you hear the names. I’m trans and in love with both names, my middle name is [name_f]Starr[/name_f] and I’m not changing it as my twin brother, who is also trans is keeping his [name_u]Skye[/name_u] middle name aswell and [name_f]Starr[/name_f] has a special place in my heart. Valentine is bold and sleek with the nicknames [name_u]Val[/name_u], [name_u]Van[/name_u], [name_u]Lenny[/name_u],[name_u]Vale[/name_u], Vee.

I think a great potential nickname for [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is [name_u]Valen[/name_u]. 
But I do prefer the name [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] to [name_u]Valentine[/name_u].

I prefer [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] [name_f]Starr[/name_f] since [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] [name_f]Starr[/name_f] is a bit wordy. I do like [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] in general though.

Valentine is one of my favourite names. It sounds romantic and strong. I love it.
