I would group [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] with [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

It feels quite dated, to me. I’d much prefer it as a nickname for [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f].

I know of 2 and both are in their late 40s-50s, so the association makes it too old for me to see on a child.

For me it is associated too closely with the fast food chain and women aged 40-50.

I wish I could like it, but the “wend” sound for some reason throws me off. [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] from [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m] is a great association though!

All in all, I don’t love it, but don’t hate it either.

I think it’s a very solid choice. It is cute, but sounds dignified at the same time, imo.

I like it, my first association is with [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m]. A lot of “older” names are coming back and this could fit in nicely with the [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]'s and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]'s that have grown in popularity again. What keeps me from all out loving it is wondering if other kids would link to the fast food and tease on that level.
