I know there’s been a recent starbaby [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and I love the connection to [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_m]Mandela[/name_m] (and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] the Pooh.) I know a [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] who is my age (early 20s) and she carries it quite well. What do you guys think of [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] as a stand alone name for a girl? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it ages well? What middle names would you pair with it?
I like [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] but it is a nn not a stand alone imo. Short for [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_f]Winona[/name_f] etc it is lovely x
I adore [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]! It was on my list as a nickname for [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], unfortunately my husband vetoed that one. If both of you love it, go for it.
I love it as a nickname but would prefer something more substantial for a full name.
I love [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I do sort of agree that a longer first name is needed. - I know a [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] who’s changed her name to [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] if she doesn’t like the full name and prefers just [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] there is always that option.
