We’re still stuck on this monkeys name with 2-3 weeks to go. Husband is still obsessed with [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] but I can’t just give in on a name I don’t like. I used to love looking at names and this is soooo stressful!
Pretty much everything I suggest is vetoed (recent examples, [name_m]Levi[/name_m], [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], [name_m]Louie[/name_m], [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] etc)
Really liking Zephan at the moment though, and he’s not automatically vetoed yet! [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t think I’d use the whole [name_m]Zephaniah[/name_m], but like Zephy or Zeph as nn. And it sounds ok with the girls names?
Middles are either [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] or [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m]
I like Zephan. It’s a little more unusual than your daughters’ names, but I think it works. User saracita00 has a son named Zephan. I hope she appears to tell you about her experiences with the name.
I like it quite a lot! [name_m]Zephaniah[/name_m] isn’t really my thing, but I like Zephan a lot. @saracita00 has a Zephan. I think they call him “Z”? Which I think is fun, too, although Zeph/Zefi is pretty cool, too (sp?). I think Zephan [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] or Zephan [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] is really handsome! I really like [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], [name_f]Thea[/name_f], and Zephan together, too.
It’s really appealing at the moment, just hope I can persuade him!
It’s one of the very few Z names I like, ought to appeal to him, he does like the idea of a Z name being the last baby!
Also like [name_f]Zee[/name_f] as a nn too. Can imagine most people will relate it to [name_m]Stephan[/name_m] rather than [name_m]Zephaniah[/name_m] but I’m ok with that, if they ask I can set them straight
I adore Zephan, especially with [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] / [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m]. I know a little [name_m]Zephaniah[/name_m] who goes by Zephan, I think it is adorable.
I really like it - had never heard it before @saracita00’s son, but it’s really handsome. Zephan [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] is swoonworthy.
I wanna be honest without coming off as rude but I don’t like it at all. If I met a kid named Zephan I’d think his parents were crazy. It sounds like an alien name to me. It kinda comes off as just being a made up name that some weird hipster parents would name their son.
Thankfully it’s not a made up name, it’s from the Hebrew [name_m]Zephaniah[/name_m]. I don’t think Zeph is any odder than [name_m]Zack[/name_m] and sounds a lot nicer too of course this poor child will remain nameless because my other half is still refusing to compromise
