I am trying to brainstorm names to honor a [name_m]David[/name_m]. Does Zevida work? Is it too out there?
I know a few Devidas. Zevida is eclectic, and I don’t automatically think [name_m]David[/name_m] when I hear it.
Davd -> Zevida definitely works, I can see the connection, but Zevida sounds kinda sci-fi alien leader woman or something. Might be a big load to carry for a little girl. [name_m]How[/name_m] about it for a middle name?
Zevida is pretty and works to honor [name_m]David[/name_m], you would just have to explain it to people. Overall I like it though If you’re looking for feminine forms of [name_m]David[/name_m] have you considered [name_f]Davina[/name_f]? She’s a feminine form of [name_m]David[/name_m].
It would be for a middle. I am not a big fan of [name_f]Davida[/name_f] or of the name [name_m]David[/name_m] in general, but it’s meaningful for my husband. He doesn’t like the ‘divine’ sounding aspect of Davinia which I thought would be a great middle and a really overt way to honor Grandpa, but he’s not into it, I think he thinks it sounds drag queenie. Zevida is an intense one. Does [name_u]Vida[/name_u] get the point across at all?
Zevida is a bit too much. I think [name_u]Vida[/name_u] will be fine.
I would definitely go with [name_u]Vida[/name_u] over Zevida. The latter is way too [name_m]Zenon[/name_m]: Girl of the 21st Century for me.
Not a fan. Bit too out there for me. Have you considered [name_f]Davina[/name_f]?
