Hey everyone.
[name_f]HAPPY[/name_f] [name_m]NEW[/name_m] YEAR!!!

What are your thoughts on The name [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] for a girl. We are wanting to start trying for number 2 soon,And this is a name me and my husband both found pretty awesome.

We have [name_m]Arrow[/name_m]. So what are your thoughts on baby boy [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] and baby girl [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] ([name_f]Maddy[/name_f] in the future if that’s what she wants to be called)

Sounds daft to me. I can’t see the appeal at all.

If I was a girl named [name_m]Maddox[/name_m], in all honesty, I would grow up feeling as though my parents had wished I was a boy, and that they couldn’t be bothered to find a feminine name for me.

I don’t care for [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] on a girl, or a boy for that matter so I’m probably not much help. I’m just not a fan of the name [name_m]Maddox[/name_m].

Ugh, I really hate this. I really just don’t see the appeal of taking any which boy name you like and plopping it on a girl. So many boy names are being used on girls that someday there will be no names for just boys. And on top of it, you want to give her a ridiculously overused nickname like [name_f]Maddy[/name_f]…I just really don’t understand this.

Sounds harsh, and this is coming from a person with unusual and off beat taste. I do happen to like some gender bending names, but, this isn’t on the list.
If you like [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] for a girl, you may want to consider:

We just saw the name and thought it was cool. We like out there names hence why we named our son [name_m]Arrow[/name_m]. But I see everyone’s opinion it is kind of a odd ball name for a girl.

It’s definitely a cool name. However, I don’t like it for a girl. I know several boy [name_m]Maddox[/name_m]'s so it’s hard to picture it on a girl.
