[name_u]Saxon[/name_u] [name_m]Wells[/name_m]

Sounds like a storefront for the Trumps.

Aww I love it! So cool! Goes really well together.

Really like [name_u]Saxon[/name_u] not very keen on wells but they do sound good together

I really like it. [name_u]Unique[/name_u] or uncommon, but recognizable and easy to say.

I too prefer [name_m]Wells[/name_m] to [name_u]Saxon[/name_u]. The flow is great, but I’d prefer something a little softer and less “now” up front — maybe something like [name_m]Samson[/name_m], which is cool, uncommon and current-feeling, but also has a very long history.

I love [name_u]Saxon[/name_u] and I quite like [name_m]Wells[/name_m], but together they don’t really sound like a name for a person.

I like both separately but together it sounds a bit like an archaeological site

Sounds really cool to me

I agree.

I think it sounds cool, but I don’t care for [name_u]Saxon[/name_u].

Thank you for the thoughts everyone! I love the sound of the combo and both names, but after reading comments I think this combo might not be something I want to keep on my list :grimacing: I think it is a little too harsh/cold maybe

Harsh/cold I think is a fitting description.

I can see how they are appealing sounding together but it does come off very stoic, sterile, and gives me the vibe of a law firm or a trust fund guy who never stops talking about [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] or [name_f]Ayn[/name_f] [name_m]Rand[/name_m].

I like Katinka’s suggestion of Samson Wells as a softer, more inviting alternative.

Sounds like a bank. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Sage[/name_u] [name_m]Wells[/name_m] to soften it a bit?

Sage [name_f]Wellesley[/name_f]?

Thanks for the suggestions, but they don’t really fit the style that I like

Anyone have suggestions based on…

[name_u]Saxon[/name_u] [name_m]Wells[/name_m]
[name_m]Kitt[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Moss[/name_m]
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Wells[/name_m]
[name_m]Saint[/name_m] [name_u]Wilder[/name_u]
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m]
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m]
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] [name_u]Oak[/name_u]
[name_u]West[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]

Would love either new name ideas or combo ideas. I find my style hard to describe; I like names that are a little unusual, friendly, a bit western, have a connection to nature, sort of old school americana, mostly tailored and succinct (though I love some more fanciful choices as well). Our sons are F0rde Call0way and Bank5 Huds0n. I would say my front runners for a boy would be [name_m]Kitt[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Moss[/name_m] or [name_m]Saint[/name_m] ____ ?? I’m just not in love with any of the middle names that I’ve thought of for [name_m]Saint[/name_m]…i really need some fresh ideas! I’ve also been thinking on the name [name_u]Eden[/name_u] for a boy. Thoughts on [name_u]Eden[/name_u]?

I follow a comedian, [name_m]Trey[/name_m] [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u], who pokes fun at the trend to have an X in the middle of a kids name

I love [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] [name_u]Oak[/name_u], that one definitely has my vote! But I’ll admit it doesn’t quite go with your F0rde and Bank5

Perhaps…

[name_u]Arrow[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u]
[name_u]Jackson[/name_u]
[name_u]Quill[/name_u]
[name_u]Remington[/name_u]
[name_m]Roswell[/name_m]
[name_m]Truett[/name_m]
[name_u]Wolf[/name_u]

Edit to add [name_u]Justice[/name_u]. I really like this one with your sibset!

Maybe you’d like [name_m]Silas[/name_m]? In meaning and style… [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m] or [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_u]Wilde[/name_u]? I’m not sure about [name_m]Saint[/name_m] as a first name… In NZ you’re not even allowed to use it!
