Thoughts? (Urgent!)

I’m expecting a set of fraternal twins this [name_u]March[/name_u] and I’m starting to get doubts on my little girl’s name. Her name is [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] Lexille. My mom wanted to name me [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] and Lexille comes from my grandma’s middlename, Lexilia.

My husband and I love the name, but I find the name, Lexillia, an inch too exotic.

Help me love the name again, guys! Or give me suggestions for a new middlename.

Thank you, Berries!

[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] is a lovely choice! It goes well with your other children’s names too : )

I find Lexille a bit weird, but considering it’s an honour name, I think it’s fine.

[name_m]How[/name_m] would Lexilia be pronounced ? I think I prefer [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] with a three syllable mn, that’s if I’m being picky though. I think you’ve picked lovely names, don’t worry too much x

I think its lovely, and the family meaning makes it really special. I think Lexille is a great option, and less ‘exotic’ than Lexilia. The middle name is a great spot for an unusual and adventurous name, and most people who meet [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] won’t know her middle name unless she decides to share it.
If you still think it’s a little too much you could try one of these options to honour Lexilia:
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f], Lucilia, [name_f]Lexa[/name_f], [name_f]Alexia[/name_f], [name_f]Alexine[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Lexia[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandrine[/name_f], and any other name containing ‘lex’!

You could always shorten Lexilia to [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] (and have it still be an honor name)? Otherwise, mns are where you can spice it up if you like, so I wouldn’t worry too much.

I really like Lexille or Lexillia. I detest [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u].

[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] is gorgeous and sweet!
While Lexille is a little different, I like it. But if you still feel unsure the friendly pp suggestion of [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] is more approachable and still honors Lexille well.

I love the name [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]! And I think Lexille is a really nice, interesting, and unexpected middle name.

[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] Lexille is lovely…

A sister set of [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] makes me think of Brangelina, but I’m sure you’ve heard that by now.

[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] is an unusual enough name that I’d suggest giving her something more common or traditional in the middle? [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] or [name_f]Lianna[/name_f] or [name_f]Alexa[/name_f]? If you want to preserve the honour, I’d just use Lexilia verbatim, I’m not sure what’s gained in switching it to Lexille, unless that’s a familiar name where you are?

I love the name [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]! It’s on my short list for a girl or a boy, so I think you have made a lovely choice. And it is wonderful that you want to honour your grandma. I think Lexille has a very nice sound to it, and it’s a exciting alternative to [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] Lexille seems like a wonderful name to me and I hope you regain confidence in it [Lexille] or else find an alternative that thrills you. All the best

[name_m]How[/name_m] about Easmay sounds like ezmay

OR [name_f]Elle[/name_f] sounds like eelee
isrielli sounds like izrielli

I love love love [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]! The spelling of Lexillia is what looks exotic to me, but the sound isn’t too out there, so I think it’s fine. It is just a middle name after all

Thank you so much, everyone! Thank you so much for taking your time to help me and my indecisive mind. Well, I certainly think I’ll be sticking to [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] Lexille and I won’t be changing my mind anytime soon. My grandma meant a great ton to me and my family and her passing has left us quite heartbroken. So, I’m glad I could use a name to remind me of her everyday. Thank you so much, Berries! Expected due date of [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] and [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is on [name_u]March[/name_u] 27.
