Thoughts

Two posts in the span of one hour, oh my!

Anyways, what do you all think of the name [name_m]Bean[/name_m]? I always thought it was a very cute and sweet name, although I’d only ever use it as a middle. Does it remind you too much of [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_m]Bean[/name_m] Cobain? What are all your thoughts on the name?

Honestly, I think it’s atrocious.

I think it’s strictly nn territory.

It does make me think of my great Aunt [name_f]Rubina[/name_f] who was known as Auntie Beanie.

It’s better suited as a word rather than a name. I would never want to introduce myself as [name_m]Bean[/name_m] in all seriousness.

It definitely reminds me of [name_m]Kurt[/name_m] Cobain’s daughter, but celebrity kids typically get a free pass when it comes to names that children born to normal parents would have to work hard to pull off.

It’s a pretty common nickname because babies look like beans in the earliest ultrasound pictures, and expecting parents don’t know anything else about the baby yet. So there are probably plenty of kids that go by [name_m]Bean[/name_m] in their families, but it wouldn’t make any sense as a formal name.

It’s a cute nickname but very silly as a given name.

I wouldn’t use it, sorry.

It fails my test question: would I want my middle name to be [name_m]Bean[/name_m]?

I have a friend whose daughter has the middle name of [name_m]Bean[/name_m]. It works well for them. Her first name is quite popular which balances the quirkiness of [name_m]Bean[/name_m]. I personally wouldn’t use it though.
