I have actually never heard of this before. It’s a Hausa name that I thought was very unique and wearable. I’ve always been a fan of unusual names and this is my latest crush.

I think you described it perfectly- unique but wearable. It reminds me of the name [name_f]Isaura[/name_f] but seems more straightforward and less likely to get mispronounced. [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] seems like the default nn. I like it.
