All are very nice names.
I would steer clear of [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] together. The way it sounds reminds me of the show I [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] seem like too many R’s together.
I chose [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]. They just seem to fit together better than any of the other combos.
I actually like [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
Thanks for feedback. I’m also open to suggestions so play with the names if you want.
I also hear “I [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]” when [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] are said together. “[name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]!”
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite set would be [name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
Ok, I’m going to play with your names… I have one question to ask you: where is the location of your story? For example, some names on your list sound more British (eg. [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]) than American and others sound more American than British (eg. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]).
Summary:
Girl Choices: [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
Boy Choices: [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
I would eliminate [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. If the last name will be Delacroix, [name_m]Felix[/name_m] should be let go ([name_m]Felix[/name_m] Delacroix isn’t ideal with the repetitive “el” and “x”). I wouldn’t have [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] together as it’s too theme-y (that goes for [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] too).
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite sibsets would be :
- [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] (the children all share an “l” but the names are unique and cohesive. This sibset could work in [name_u]America[/name_u] or [name_f]England[/name_f])
- [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] (this sounds more British than the first sibset above)
- [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] - the more “American” sibset
[name_u]Mischa[/name_u] it’s set in Australia! [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] to be honest but I just want the name to flow.
I love [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] - it didn’t cross my mind so its been added to the list.
Thank you!
[name_m]Hi[/name_m],
Thanks for everyone who voted but after a lot of thinking, and looking at other names, I’ve decided the three children will be:
[name_m]Christian[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
Sophia Jessica
Madeleine Ruby
The other names will be thought/used as other children are added I think.
