Currently on the table for this baby (if a boy) are [name]Peregrine[/name], [name]Wolfgang[/name] and [name]Julius[/name]. Those are the only 3 DH and I agree on, and I personally would like a few more. The middle name will most likely begin in L or E so names that end in sounds that roll into an E or L are out.
I did nymbler typing in the boys names in my signature and other names but nothing stuck out enough for either of us.
So please list names you think work with our current kids, and, the boys names we are considering. Thanks in advance!
Well, you’ve already picked 3 of my top 5, so maybe you’ll like some of my other faves. As pp said, you’ve got a pretty broad range in style with your current kids, so you’ve got a lot of wiggle room!
[name]Roscoe[/name]
[name]Chester[/name]
[name]Irving[/name]
[name]Cassius[/name] (nn [name]Cash[/name] or Caz?)
But, if I’m honest, the 3 you’ve already agreed on sound better (to me) with your current kiddos. I vote for [name]Peregrine[/name]! I also really love diminutive [name]Perrin[/name]
I love [name]Percival[/name], my only issue is that my 6 year old was obsessed with [name]Thomas[/name] (trains) for a few years and [name]Percy[/name] is one of the trains. So while I have other kids who have “character” names, doing [name]Percy[/name] would just seem strange to me. Our last name ends with a “R” sound so I will not do anything ending with R. I like [name]Augustus[/name], that is probably my favorate from the suggestions, but with a [name]Violet[/name], [name]Augustus[/name] seems very “[name]Charlie[/name] and the Chocolate Factory” to me. [name]Irving[/name] and [name]Roscoe[/name] are interesting, I will have to ask DH about it. He is pretty stuck on [name]Wolfgang[/name] as of now so we will see. [name]Bronwen[/name] was to be [name]Peregrine[/name] if she was a he, so since this may be our last I would love a chance to use it since its a wonderful name that I have loved for years now.
That is an awesome combo, and who could say no to “the ultimate in highly cultured badassity”. But [name]Peregrine[/name] doesnt fit with the middle name theme we have going on.
I was trying to figure out exactly what that theme was. Is it more than being religiously related? I mean, [name]Peregrine[/name] means pilgrim, right?
Wow, I just love the three options that you came up with. Fantastic!
There have been some great suggestions here. I second [name]Augustus[/name]. I think the nickname [name]Augie[/name] is so cute!
Well DARN! I was so looking forward to living vicariously through your birth announcement I’m sure I still will, you’ll come up with something stunning.
I really like pp’s suggestion of [name]Enoch[/name]. Although I feel like [name]Violet[/name] needs a sib with an L mn. [name]How[/name] about [name]Lael[/name]?
