Tilda

Please may I have your opinion on the name [name]Tilda[/name]? Yes, no, what would she be like?
My mum gave me a list of girls names she’s been collecting for me and [name]Tilda[/name] was the only one I kind of liked.
A hypothetical sister to Bugsy.

Thanks,
Llia

I love [name]Tilda[/name]! It makes me think of [name]Tilda[/name] Swinton.

[name]Tilda[/name] reminds me of the tilde symbol (~)

It’s probably my least favorite nickname for [name]Matilda[/name].

With that said, I think it’s kind of cute next to Bugsy. I have no idea why…

I like it a lot, although prefer it as a nn for [name]Matilda[/name]. Pp reminds me that I think [name]Greta[/name] would make a really nice sister name to Bugsy, too.

I have a baby [name]Matilda[/name] and while I don’t plan on using a nickname, if I do, I would use [name]Tilda[/name].
Actually my husband loves that it sounds like tilde. “She can just sign her name “~” !”

I’d assume her name was actually [name]Matilda[/name].

[name]Tilda[/name] is a kind of rice but its probably still usable.

I love [name]Tilda[/name] as a nickname for [name]Matilda[/name] but I don’t think it has enough substance as a stand alone name.

I like it. I can equally image a spunky little girl or a sophisticated woman, it’s feminine without being frilly.
Unusual and individual (which can’t be siad for [name]Matilda[/name]) but also easily spelled and pronounced.

I like it, but don’t love it. I do love [name]Matilda[/name] though.

Exactly this
