The Woodenwind are known to be strong and kind rulers, and under them the kingdom has known prosperity and peace.
The Dragonbone are fierce warriors, and during their rule the kingdom grew by leaps and bounds at the expense of many men’s lives.
The Blueglow are known for their wealth and extravagance, and during their rule the people knew periods of sickness and starvation.
The Morninggaze are the humanitarians, they champion the people and do what is best for the people over what is best for the crown.

Family dethroned by Woodenwind in the War of the Three Traitors.
The householder is [name_m]Lord[/name_m] Kehenar, married to Lady Noasis, a noble of the neighboring kingdom of Ducaea, who was to be married to the [name_m]King[/name_m] Brienus. The ancestors of [name_m]King[/name_m] Yeniris supported the coup that led to the War of the Three Traitors.
Jenyris married Belladonna Silverfall, from a smaller, but powerful, family of Castalia. Many men have wished marry her, who was said to be half fairy, but Jenyris never paid much attention, only when having children. He was associated romantically with Thorvif Morninggaze.
When Edmes proclaims his right to the throne, Jenyris lends his support, provided that marries one of his daughters. Edmes is committed to Moredelia, who is nicknamed “The [name_f]Fairy[/name_f]” for its extraordinary beauty. Shortly after the announcement of the engagement, Moredelia is assaulted and forced during a carriage ride. Her parents say it was not forced, but soon begins to show signs of pregnancy. When 19 weeks of the assault are met, pregnancy is evident. His place as Edmes fiancee is occupied by Kallidora her twin sister, who is not as beautiful as her.

The Morninggaze family had a less important role during the War of the Three Traitors. They rose against Dragaonbone when Tepbris Dragonbone “The Cuel” killed his wife Sirifa Morninggaze.
The householder is Friadis, who married first with Sidmadra of The [name_f]Snow[/name_f] [name_u]Angel[/name_u] Forests, the second daughter of the emperor of that place. After the death of Sidmandra giving birth to her seventh child, Friadis married Thessalia Summersorrow, niece of [name_m]King[/name_m] Brienus, thirty years junior than him. Thessalia is a descendant of two Queens: Bunlene Dragonbone, nicknamed “[name_f]Queen[/name_f] Immortal”, who lived 110 years and married 4 times; and also descends from Rhodanthe Summersorrow, nicknamed “The [name_f]Queen[/name_f] Mother”, who had 32 children.
