We are having our first baby at the end of February and I am in love with so many names I can’t narrow it down! I think I’m also having trouble giving her a name without seeing her. We have a few favorites ready, but I just can’t commit! And I could use some help with middle name ideas.

Here are our top favorites right now:

[name]Silvia[/name] (nn [name]Silvie[/name])

and some others we feel really strongly about!

[name]Cecelia[/name] (nn CeCe)
[name]Lillian[/name]

Our last name is Pelliccioni; very Italian, and originally we had all these gorgeous Italian names picked out: [name]Bianca[/name], [name]Angelina[/name], [name]Francesca[/name]. But I think we have since decided to go a more traditional route.

As far as middle names I have been leaning towards one syllable, our last name is just so long! I also like a few two syllable ones with the emphasis on the second syllable. Here are a few I like:

[name]Faye[/name]
[name]Camille[/name] ([name]Nina[/name] [name]Camille[/name] was the front runner for a while!)
[name]Nadine[/name]

I am open to suggestions so please throw some at me! I would say our style is Traditional/Old Fashioned with a twist! Bonus points if they have an Italian flair!

But [name]Nina[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Silvia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is also lovely.

My vote goes to either [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Sylvia[/name] [name]Camille[/name] :slight_smile:

I think [name]Nina[/name] [name]Camille[/name] is GREAT. I find [name]Grace[/name] in the middle SO overdone, so I think any of the other middles would be better. While [name]Nina[/name] [name]Camille[/name] would be my front runner, I also like [name]Nina[/name] [name]Faye[/name] and [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Faye[/name] (I prefer this spelling of [name]Cecilia[/name], and I think you can still have a Cece).

I also like [name]Nina[/name] and [name]Cecelia[/name] the best… and [name]Faye[/name] is gorgeous and elegant. Not a fan of [name]Sylvia[/name]… don´t know why… doesn´t feel like a little girl could be a [name]Sylvia[/name] i guess… also feels less unexpected than the other two choices. good luck!
