Times running out!!

I only have three weeks and one day left until shes here! Problem is, me and DH havent decided on a name, we have names we each like but none we both like, some name experts? Starting to get a little nervous!

My choices: [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Brooklyn[/name] P., [name]Hazel[/name] Laurivia P., [name]Helena[/name] [name]Olive[/name] P., [name]August[/name] [name]Grace[/name] P.

His choices: [name]Emmaline[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] P., [name]Maisie[/name] [name]Lee[/name] P., [name]Kennady[/name] Aylee P.

Kids’ choices: Bubblegum (our three year old haha), [name]Pheobe[/name] [name]Kylee[/name] (our eight year old, name expert in training :D)

With your existing girls names ([name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Morgan[/name], Pheniox [name]Gray[/name], and [name]Jordan[/name] [name]Zoe[/name]) these three names would be my top choices:
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Olive[/name], [name]August/name [name]Grace[/name], and [name]Maisie[/name] [name]Lee[/name].

From your list, I like Emmaline Charlotte the best. Emmaline is new & fresh but not too “out there”, Charlotte is a tried & true classic & they sound & flow nicely together. I also really like Hazel (but I’m not sure about Laurivia -I think maybe I like it, but it sounds made up. I prefer names with a history, although, if it were a family name or a way to honour a Laura & an Olivia in the family, I would be happier about it) & Phoebe (but not with Kylee -it’s too matchy). How about Phoebe Bubblegum? (lol, no, not really although it does flow well together!)

Seriously, what about:
Phoebe Helena
Phoebe Grace
Phoebe Emmeline
Hazel Emmeline

  • Olivia just seems too popular to me. Your other choices are mostly more unique.
  • August feels too masculine.
  • Kennady is spelt “wrong”. She would constantly be correcting people… I’ve had that problem all my life -where I have one letter different in my name than how the majority of the population spells my it and to this day I have good friends who spell my name wrong (they are not detail oriented people & I still lovethem, but it’s very frustrating!)
  • Maisie Lee is too cute. I can see it on a child, but not on an adult.
  • You should adopt a cat or dog and ask your 3 year old to name it! She is creative!

Some thoughts on your choices:

Yours:
[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Brooklyn[/name] P. - I think [name]Olivia[/name] is a great name and [name]Brooklyn[/name] is alright. The flow works just fine. Overall, a good name.
[name]Hazel[/name] Laurivia P. - [name]Love[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], but not so much Laurivia. [name]Lauren[/name] or [name]Olivia[/name] would be great, but the mix is just a little too odd for me.
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Olive[/name] P. - [name]Favorite[/name]! I love this combo. [name]Helena[/name] is a long time love of mine and it sounds lovely with [name]Olive[/name].
[name]August[/name] [name]Grace[/name] P. - This is nice combo, but it doesn’t really blow me out of the water.

His:
[name]Emmaline[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] P. - My favorite of this group, but its still second to [name]Helena[/name] [name]Olive[/name]. [name]Emmaline[/name] is another long time love of mine. The sound of the pair is wonderful!
[name]Maisie[/name] [name]Lee[/name] P. - Cute. I definitely like [name]Maisie[/name], but [name]Lee[/name] is just ok. [name]Maisie[/name] [name]Emmaline[/name] would be really cute.
[name]Kennady[/name] Aylee P. - I can’t get behind this one. I just have never liked [name]Kennedy[/name] (or [name]Kennady[/name]) on a girl. Also, the -ee sounds at the end of both names trips me up. It’s a little too rhyme-y.

[name]Love[/name] love love [name]Helena[/name] [name]Olive[/name] or [name]Emmaline[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], particularly if you have a little girl named [name]Scarlett[/name], as your username would imply :).

I would like [name]Phoebe[/name] if you hadn’t already got a [name]Phoenix[/name].

So that leaves my favourites at [name]Helena[/name] [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Emmaline[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], both of which are perfect.

Thank you all so much  And Laurivia is a mix of [name]Laura[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name], my grandmother and his aunt, and we wanted to honor them both but if the name doesnt fit, i can understand that  As for [name]Jordan[/name]'s creativity, she is a super star at it! Shes our little artist and namer, close with [name]Scarlett[/name] who dreams up names all the time, I guess its because I’m there mother and I love names! As for the naming list, we’re sitting down as I type this and talking about it, my husband says he loves [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Emmaline[/name], but I’m still unsure. Top four as of this moment (after talking about it for like three hours) are: [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Brooklyn[/name], [name]Helena[/name] [name]Olive[/name], [name]Emmaline[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], and [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Emmaline[/name]. I think calling the family sounds good, a family poll awaits!

I love the names [name]Emmeline[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name]!! I’m not big on [name]Brooklyn[/name], so my favorite is [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]. Beautiful choices though - good luck!

Why not combine your favorite name with DH’s favorite? [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name] or [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] both are very lovely! Best of both worlds! Good luck and early Congrats!

[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] or [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Grace[/name] would be my pick!

I think [name]Maisie[/name] [name]Lee[/name] is great.

Thank you everyone  I think we finally have her name, but, it might still change with three weeks, it might even go down to the delivery room knowing me! Ha, I can be quite difficult, but I definatly needed you guys to help, so thank you so very much

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name] is great! I’d go for that or [name]Olive[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name].

i like olivia, hazel, emmaline and maisie options. congrats!

I love [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]!
