Oh, I love Timur! It has a lovely Russian feel and the nn [name]Tim[/name] is quite familiar.
I don’t like Timur in a double name. I think that’s no use going with double name unless they are not very short ([name]Mary[/name]-[name]Kate[/name], [name]Rose[/name]-[name]Beth[/name], [name]Lou[/name]-[name]Ace[/name] etc). Timur [name]Jacoby[/name] or Timur [name]Jeremiah[/name] ([name]Jacoby[/name] and [name]Jeremiah[/name] as middle names) would be lovely and you could call him TJ.

P.S. I assume you pronounce it “team-oor”.
thanks! do you believe the name [name]Jacoby[/name] or [name]James[/name] is sounding religious? I would guess not that much, as it is a very common boy’s name nowadays.
Not that I’m against religious names, but I would rather consider a name which has no or less connection to a certain religion.
