Yes, it’s me again, asking about another name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] bear with me…WDYT of [name_m]Titus[/name_m]?
I want to like [name_m]Titus[/name_m] more. I don’t dislike the name, but I don’t love it either. I think it’s the Tit- beginning that I can’t get past. I don’t like [name_f]Titania[/name_f] either, even though I like [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f].
I like it…I’d love to meet a kid with the name. But I don’t think I’d ever like it enough to use it though.
I quite like the [name_m]Roman[/name_m] feel of [name_m]Titus[/name_m], however I think it might be a bit heavy for a little one because of [name_m]Titus[/name_m] Andronicus … There are many - us names I like better ([name_m]Marius[/name_m], [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], [name_m]Julius[/name_m]…)…
I don’t mind the name [name_m]Titus[/name_m]. I wouldn’t use it but I think its a good name. It’s definitely a strong name.
I don’t like it at all. I’ve met too little boys (3 and 4yrs) in the last couple weeks with the name. I usually don’t pay much attention to kids’ names, but when I heard [name_m]Titus[/name_m] I thought “how awful.” I have also seen the name a few times on a birth board that I am a part of. To me I think of a [name_m]Titan[/name_m] but then reminds me of [name_m]Brutus[/name_m] (like a dog). When I see a [name_m]Person[/name_m] named [name_m]Titus[/name_m] it seems harsh and like whoever named the person is trying too hard to be different. BUT overall it seems like people don’t mind it, and its suddenly being talked about as though it might become one of those trendy names. Like [name_u]Hayden[/name_u], [name_u]Jayden[/name_u], [name_u]Braiden[/name_u], [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]… I can’t stand those names either though. ALSO, I think name trends are somewhat regional/geographic even within the US. Wherever you are people may love it.
I know a 3 year old [name_m]Titus[/name_m]. Fits him well. I like it.
I slightly prefer [name_m]Silas[/name_m].
I don’t mind it. [name_f]My[/name_f] cousin named one of her sons [name_m]Titus[/name_m]. She is ULTRA religious. Her husband is a pastor and all of their kids have quirky/religious names (another one of their kids’ names is [name_f]Praise[/name_f]). I guess [name_m]Titus[/name_m] is part of the [name_m]New[/name_m] Testament or something? I don’t really know because I am personally not a bit religious but I guess people who are would know the name. The name itself is kind of cool, but I would never use it due to the religious associations but if that doesn’t bother you or fits you even more perfectly, then it’s a solid choice.
I’m not crazy about it. One of my good friends has this as his last name…we talked about his name once (it’s not a very modern name) and he said he got teased about his first name and [name_m]Titus[/name_m].
I know a guy named [name_m]Titus[/name_m]. He wears it well. I think it’s a fine name.
I like it. I think it’s a strong name. [name_f]My[/name_f] best friend has a younger brother named [name_m]Titus[/name_m] who I think is about to turn 11. They’re a really religious family made up of nice people. I was talking fast and called him “Titties” by mistake one time.
I can’t get past the clunky sound and the “tit-” beginning. I can’t imagine it on a real child, so maybe I’d change my mind if I met one [name_m]IRL[/name_m]. This kind of name would be a nightmare if you were in any way shy or socially awkward, he who wears [name_m]Titus[/name_m] would need to be very confident to have such an unusual and attention grabbing name amongst the sea of [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]'s. For those reasons I wouldn’t go for it personally, but if you love it, do it!
