To Honor a Helen: Completed

I found our name to honor my husband’s grandmother, [name]Helen[/name]. His family is also a considrable amount Polish, so it’s the Polish variation of [name]Helen[/name], Helina.

[name]Halina[/name] [name]June[/name] (insert last name ending in -ski). We’ll call her [name]Hallie[/name] or [name]Lina[/name] as a nickname, whichever comes more naturally.

I’m so glad to have come across this name, but I feel as though my nameberry visits may become less frequent now that I’ve found her name…who am I kidding, I’ll still come here.

[name]Halina[/name] or Helina? Sorry you spelt it both ways in the post so I wasn’t sure but either way I think it’s a lovely way to honour a [name]Helen[/name], and I personally [name]LOVE[/name] the nn [name]Lina[/name]

[name]Halina[/name]! Thanks.

I love [name]Lina[/name] as a nn, too!
