[name]Hi[/name]!
I think it’s a beautiful idea to honor!
[name]Erik[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] is a perfectly nice name.
I do think some others might have
better flow, like with [name]Erik[/name], the sound
at the end will run in a little to the sound
at the beginning of your name, but it’s
by no means a huge problem.
I adore the name [name]Gregory[/name]. I would put
that in the front in your position, but
if you won’t consider it, I understand.
I have seen posts on here suggesting
[name]Grey[/name] and [name]Rory[/name] as updated nicknames
for [name]Gregory[/name], and I like that.
Here are some thoughts and spins:
[name]Erik[/name] - consider [name]Alaric[/name], [name]Richard[/name], anything
with the “[name]Rick[/name]/[name]Rich[/name]” element will likely
connected by meaning and history
and possibility of nn [name]Rick[/name].
[name]Greyson[/name] - [name]Greyson[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] is sort of a
tongue twister, but middle names are used so
little, I think it’s OK. Although I can see
[name]Grey[/name] or [name]Greyson[/name] honoring [name]Gregory[/name] directly.
[name]Greyson[/name] [name]Erik[/name]? I do think [name]Greyson[/name] is on the
trendy side FWIW, but it is handsome.
[name]Isaak[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] - I like it. I like the spelling
[name]Isaac[/name] better, but I get the sense you’re trying
to tie names to the K in your last name, which
is an attractive thing I’ve seen done before, and
liked : D.
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] - nice! What about [name]Emmett[/name]
or [name]Elliott[/name] or [name]Everett[/name] to touch on the E initial for [name]Erik[/name]?
[name]Noah[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] - handsome!
[name]Rylan[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] - the one I don’t care for. I don’t
think it will age that well. Nothing wrong with it
though.
[name]Elijah[/name] / [name]Eli[/name] - I like! Slightly prefer [name]Eli[/name]. Also touches
on [name]Erik[/name] with the initial a little.
Good luck!
I think [name]Erik[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] is very nice. I also love suggestion of [name]Gregory[/name] as the first name. [name]Gregory[/name] [name]Erik[/name] is nicer in my opinion.
[name]Errol[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]
[name]McGregor[/name] [name]Erikson[/name]
Merrick [name]Gregory[/name] (or spelled [name]Marek[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] would honor your relatives while still giving the baby some of his own individuality.)
[name]Herrick[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]
I think of the other options, [name]Noah[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] probably flows the best.
I like [name]Isaak[/name], [name]Noah[/name], and [name]Elijah[/name] with [name]Gregory[/name], although I think [name]Erik[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] is a perfectly nice name. There should be more baby boys named [name]Eric[/name]/[name]Erik[/name].
Thanks everyone for the ideas. The due date is almost the same birthday as my brother which really makes [name]Erik[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] all the more appealing to me.
But I still want to do the due diligence of researching multiple options.
Thanks again,
[name]Jared[/name]
[name]Eli[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]. I love how it just rolls off the tongue
I have to agree, that one is growing on me.
[name]Elliot[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]
[name]Aaron[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]
I guess the common theme I have is “E” names, hah.
I voted for [name]Aaron[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]. Although I still really like [name]Erik[/name], I’ve really started loving [name]Aaron[/name] lately. It’s a handsome, strong, underused name with a nice meaning. I also like that [name]Erik[/name] and [name]Aaron[/name] both start with the “air” sound.
