To honor Tim

[name_f]Timea[/name_f] [name_f]Mandolin[/name_f] is beautiful. I also agree with previous posters who suggested [name_f]Timothea[/name_f] [name_f]Mandolin[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Mandolin[/name_f]. I think the latter is my favorite, but all three are gorgeous. Also, ignore the people who chose to disrespect a name you already asked them to leave alone. I really don’t have a problem with [name_f]Mandolin[/name_f], and if you really believe that should be her name, go for it

Thank you everyone. I’ll present this thread to my husband and see if anything suggested seems appropriate to him. I really like [name_f]Thea[/name_f], but think that name alone is a stretch for [name_m]Tim[/name_m]. I’ve also thought of coming up with new names, like Timilah (like [name_m]Tim[/name_m]+[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]).

My condolences.

Thinking completely outside the box here, if you don’t mind place names, what about Timmin? There’s a city in [name_m]Ontario[/name_m], [name_f]Canada[/name_f] called Timmins.

Also there’s a village in County Kildare, [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] called Timolin, which has the Irish connection, and sort of combines both names if you wanted to do that. I think it might be pronounced Tie-mo-lin, but I have a few Irish friends I could check with if you like?

Nothing else to add, but sorry for your loss.

I do enjoy seeing when family names are passed on and honored, I commend you for doing this for your child.

Thank you very much for everyone’s condolences. It’s much appreciated. Only thing I can say is make sure when family is together, to take pictures of EVERYONE. You never know how long you have left with them. I’m responsible for creating a collage for the memorial service and not many recent pictures are available. :frowning:
