Too Chronicles of Narnia?

One of the front runners for this next baby is the name [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] because we love how it honors my family name of [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and has the nickname [name_f]Susie[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f]/[name_f]Annie[/name_f]. Our biggest problem with it is that we already have a L.ouise, F.rances, and an E.dmund. The four kids in the Chronicles of [name_f]Narnia[/name_f] are [name_f]Susan[/name_f], [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and L.ouise sounds like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] to me and E.dmund has the same name. [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] sounds like [name_f]Susan[/name_f], and if we chose that, we would have 3/4 of the kids. Is this too much or is it fine since two of the names are different?

Also, our top boy name right now is [name_m]Peter[/name_m], so it seems we really love the names in those books:D

Honestly, I think it’s fine. I personally didn’t even notice despite seeing all the movies, and I doubt others are going to figure it out unless they’ve filed the pre-requisite of A) [name_m]Reading[/name_m] and remembering all the kids names from the books and B) Knowing all your kids names, which I feel like isn’t that high of likeliness. If you love it, then go for it.

I think it’s fine. I was never a fan of the books so maybe I’m not the right person to ask. I’m sure someone at some point will make a comment but all four names are in style. I love [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. If you’re really concerned I would consider other boy options, but I wouldn’t give up [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. It’s an honor name and slightly different than [name_f]Susan[/name_f].

I can see the similarity, but I don’t think it’s something to be concerned of.
If you hadn’t of mentioned the comparison I probably wouldn’t have realized.

Your age groups are also different from the series. In [name_f]Narnia[/name_f], [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and [name_f]Susan[/name_f] were the oldest…so there’s that.

Agree with the PP. I think it’s fine.

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], and [name_f]Susan[/name_f] is maybe too much. [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] is different enough that I wouldn’t even think of the books.

Agree with this. I would have to think about [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] might be a bit too [name_f]Narnia[/name_f].

I think it’s totally fine, to be honest. I don’t think it’s too obvious, even being a literature dork, and I think [name_f]Louise[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]/[name_f]Susan[/name_f] are different enough that people aren’t likely to pick up on it unless they’re actively trying. Besides, they’re lovely names!
