Not expecting but just thinking about girls names (as berries do….) and wondering if [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Nora[/name_f] for cousins? [name_f]My[/name_f] niece is [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is high on my list for a future girl, but they do have similar sounds.
I think for cousins it would be ok.
I don’t think they are too close at all!
That didn’t even occur to me because written out they’re very distinct. But I don’t think it’s too close because they start and end with different sounds
They’re in no way alike
I think they’re completely fine! I have cousins with much more similar names IRL, and they’re all just fine. (Eg. [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] (both boys) and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] (both girls))
Not too close at all. If you were to call ‘Nora’ or ‘Georgia’ itd be pretty easy to distinguish them
I think it’s fine for cousins
Maybe controversial but I think they are distinct enough that I wouldn’t find them weird even as siblings.
I don’t think they are close at all. So absolutely fine for cousins!
I didn’t catch the similarity myself
I have two cousins with the same name (they just use a different nickname). Actually, there are three instances of this exact thing in my family.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is more than okay.
Not at all. They’re not too close for sisters either.
I’d say too close for sisters but fine for cousins!
Not too close at all!
I don’t even think they’re too close for sisters
Agreed with all the above- not too close for cousins and not even too close for sisters
Not too close for cousins, or even sisters!
