I came across Evren a while ago, but wrote it off because I was afraid it was too close in sound to my daughter’s name, [name_f]Arwen[/name_f]. I’m revisiting it because I really do love the sound and meaning of it. Everyone in our family has two syllable N ending names (it was an accident, but they are apparently often mine and my husband’s combined favorites), so I feel like Evren would fit in really well. Plus, I like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Erin[/name_f], but they’re both more popular than I would prefer. Evren is similar to those without the popularity problem. So what do you Berries think? Are [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] and Evren too close for sisters?
If you are really in love with the name than definitely choose it! But It might be a little to close to [name_f]Arwen[/name_f]. If you think [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is a little to popular for your taste then you could look at [name_f]Elliana[/name_f] or [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]. They are pretty similar and not very popular so they could work! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!! Good luck! 
Both are really cool names but they are really close! If it doesn’t bother you though, I wouldn’t worry about others…
And on the bright side - it isn’t as close as [name_u]Arden[/name_u]

And I feel like it would constantly be mistaken for [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].
But if you really adore it, it could work.
I would say go for it! It might get mistaken for [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], but I would love correcting people, personally. That’s how beautiful it is! I love it!
I honestly think they are much much too similar. Near identical.
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] and Evren are too close for my comfort level but YOU have to decide if YOU are ok with the similarity. I’m very sensitive to sounds for some reason. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think that [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] may come running if you called Evren?
