Hi!

Just recently posted about a battle of two family names (Anson & Ansel) over on the boys list but now that im seeing more support for Ansel I’m wondering if my absolute number one girl name Sybil/Sibyl is too close to Ansel? They have essentially the same ending sounds. So

Is Ansel too close to Sybil/Sibyl

I don’t think they’re too close. I think as twins, they’re a little more matchy. As regular siblings though, I think there’s no issue!

I don’t think they’re too close. I like that they’ve got commonalities- same syllables/letters, l-endings- which make them flow together but they’re still distinct from one another
