There is a little girl in [name]Jude[/name]'s daycare named [name]Ava[/name]. A couple days ago I found out that her older sister’s name is [name]Savannah[/name].
sAVAnnah has [name]Ava[/name] in it, and although that don’t have the same sounds I find that to be a little close. (Of course an obsesive namer like me would be bothered by something that could seem so little to others). Are these names to close for sisters? Does a situation like this bother you?
I actually like it. It would be different if it was like… [name]Hannah[/name] & [name]Savannah[/name] lol
[name]Ava[/name] & [name]Savannah[/name] are very samilair to me in the fact they are both growing in popularity and are very pretty names.
Yes, personally I think they are too close. Since [name]Ava[/name] is in [name]Savannah[/name] it seems incomplete alongside it. If two names had [name]Ava[/name] in both of them I don’t think it would be a problem, like [name]Avalon[/name] and [name]Savannah[/name] for example. That’s just my opinion anyway.
Well, seeing as how my son and daughter are [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Ava[/name], I have no problem with [name]Savannah[/name] and [name]Ava[/name]. I think they are different enough. Like both of those names. Popular does not mean bad. I like the names that stand the test of time and fit across all ages. Sometimes, I think people try too hard to be different and just end up with strange sounding names.
