[name_m]Just[/name_m] found it baby #3 is a boy! After 2 girls we are pretty excited! We both really like the name [name_m]Otto[/name_m] (I know it’s been popping up here like crazy), but I have realized it’s similar to our DD #2’s name which is [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. Spelled they are obviously so different, but when spoken they start the same. What do you think? Are they too similar? Other name suggestions are very welcome. DH loves “normal” names (I.E. Classic, easy to spell, he is pretty picky tbh). I like vintage names, but DH vetoes a lot of my favs.

MN will most likely be [name_m]Edward[/name_m], or maybe [name_m]Edison[/name_m], for my grandpa.
I do think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] are a little too similar in sounds.

I don’t find [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] too similar. They have the same beginning sound, but the rest of the name is different. But if you’re looking for something else… you seem to like classic names that are current/popular, so what about:

I think it works but if you aren’t sure [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] , [name_m]Otis[/name_m] or [name_u]Orion[/name_u] would be good alternatives
Maybe it’s because i’m Australian, but I can’t hear any similarity between [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. So, in my opinion, they are fine together.

I don’t think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] are too close at all. [name_f]Remember[/name_f], most of the time a child’s name stands alone. It’s only when they’re with their family that other members’ names matter. I don’t think it’s any different than having two children whose names start with the same letter, which some people do on purpose.
