Unfortunately, yes. Too many similar sounds.

For me, yes

Yes, [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] sound to simillar because the LYE sound is very noticeable in both names.

unfortunately, yes. although both names are very sweet

I actually pronounce [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] as eh-lee-zuh, so they aren’t that similar to me, but they’re definitely a bit close when [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is pronounced eh-lye-zuh

Unfortunately yes, if you’re pronouncing [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] as ee-LYE-za.

I do think they’re a bit too close, I’m sorry. Similar options…

[name_f]Elisa[/name_f] (eh-LEE-suh) & [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] & [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] & [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] & [name_f]Layla[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] & [name_f]Leela[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] & [name_f]Mila[/name_f] (mee-luh)

They are too close, yes.

I agree with the previous posters, the “lye” sounds are too much imo

I think they’re a bit too similar :frowning:
