Hubby and I are planning on starting a family next year and we absolutely love the name [name]Charlotte[/name]. We know it is very popular at the moment but were wondering if there are middle names that could help to set it apart. We aren’t opposed to 2 middles. What do you guys think?
I really like [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. However the middles are both common names. if you are gonna use such a common first names I would suggest using something really unique for the middle(s). Maybe consider the following:
I absolultley love [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Rose[/name] & [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] as combinations.
[name]Charlotte[/name] is a very beautiful name although very common. I also love the nicknames options such as [name]Lottie[/name]. As freyabeth said, maybe you should consider using a more unique middle name.
What do you think of [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Imogen[/name] or [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name]?
I also love the name [name]Isabelle[/name] but again very common. Hubby actually likes common names so I am not sure I could sell him anything too outside the box. I do like the idea of using the middle to make it more unique though.
Also what do you think of [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name]?
I love [name]Charlotte[/name] - my favourite combination with it is [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Daisy[/name]. But your combos are beautiful too. The only ones I would steer away from with [name]Charlotte[/name] are [name]Vivienne[/name] and [name]Gabrielle[/name]. I like both the names but find their -nne and -lle endings a little too much with [name]Charlotte[/name]'s -tte one.
Firstly, I adore the name [name]Charlotte[/name]. Very cute and grows well as she will.
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Louise[/name]- classic, pretty, tad predictable IMHO. Maybe [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name]? [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]?
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]- classic, pretty
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]- classic, not as pretty IMHO
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Rose[/name]- gorgeous, you may find another girl with that same combo
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]- NMS
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Grace[/name]- wonderful but sorry to say I feel [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is likely a very popular choice of many parents. Bit like the previous generations [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Anne[/name]. [name]Grace[/name] is a great mn for a more unusual name.
Other ideas with classic mn:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name] (while [name]Isabelle[/name] is a top FN it is not a top MN)
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Adele[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Laura[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Madeline[/name]
I also agree with pp, you could choose something less classic for a funky and quirky feel. Here’s a few to think on:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Zoe[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Elena[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Bryony[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Matilda[/name]
I do like [name]Charlotte[/name] a lot, I like the ideas of [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Grace[/name], [name]Vivienne[/name] and [name]Gabrielle[/name].
Also, [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Noel[/name]/le is one idea.
I would stay away from [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] & [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name] to be honest but absolutley love [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Imogen[/name]. I also love [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] as it is very feminine!
Not at all! I personally think NO popular name is off limits to use, especially now when so many beautiful names take the top spot. For instance, my older sister has the name [name]Olivia[/name], and while so many people are named [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Hope[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Faith[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Marie[/name], and [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Rose[/name], she claims the beautiful uniqueness of [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Sienna[/name]. That being said, she has a distinguished beautiful name that is far from popular though with a popular first name. I think since the lovely [name]Charlotte[/name] so popular, you should go for an even MORE unusual middle name, as it was suggested in above comments. I love:
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Louise[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]! I don’t think [name]Charlotte[/name] is too common. It’s lovely!
