We got happy news very recently. I don’t remember the last time I felt this excited and nervous about life! It has proven to be too much for my brain, which has already given up and moved somewhere warm and sunny.
It’s too early to know if we’re having a boy or a girl, and probably too early to do much of anything. We’ll wait a while before telling our friends and family, but I want all the names, every name, and I want them now.
[name_f]My[/name_f] partner made a simple request. That we use middle name [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] or [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] for his late mom, so of course wish granted. We’re very lost on boy names, but I already made a list of girl names that shrinks and grows by the minute.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any advice, comments, observations or critique on these?
[name_u]Ever[/name_u] or Everil (Everil was suggested to us by a friendly stranger, never heard it before. I looked it up and it was the name of a British [name_m]Saint[/name_m]. As non-Brits, non-Christians it seems a little out of reach, but I loved it at first sight)
Her|his surname will be a little long, as we’ll hyphenate his and mine, so I’m focusing on very short names.
