I think [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_u]Haven[/name_u] is a gorgeous combo. It sucks that where I live, they are both pretty solidly feminine. I’m willing to let go of [name_u]Haven[/name_u] but [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] is gorgeous & I love it! I also like [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u], or even [name_u]Alexis[/name_u]-[name_u]Bryn[/name_u] as a double-barrel first name- [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] isn’t a variant of [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], it’s a Welsh boys’ name. But… Would people think it was [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]? I don’t know.
I would think that [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_u]Haven[/name_u] and [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] are girls, so, yes I think they lean to feminine.
Bump.
Alexis [name_u]Haven[/name_u] feels unisex to me! [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] is handsome too
For me it does seem a bit on the feminine side…
Maybe if it were in the realm of [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_u]Bran[/name_u] or [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_m]Gavin[/name_m]… [name_m]Alec[/name_m] [name_u]Haven[/name_u], [name_m]Alec[/name_m] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u]?
I find [name_u]Haven[/name_u] and [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] more used for girls which is probably why I’m not sold.
I’ve met a man named [name_u]Haven[/name_u] so that name actually seems the most unisex to me personally.
I don’t think [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_u]Haven[/name_u] is too feminine! It reads pretty unisex to me. I love [name_u]Haven[/name_u] for a boy btw!
I love it for a boy more than a girl, but it leans feminine, as it is for many unisex combos.
Alexis and similar names are, where I love, usable for any gender. Many Latinx families here and I’ve had many male [name_u]Alexis[/name_u]’.
I think by themselves they could both be solidly unisex, but together they do seem more feminine.
Alexis I actually love on a boy more. I was actually contemplating [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] for my youngest but he is Alèxander now. I guess to ‘macho’ up the first name spot and make it feel definitely more masculine. You could go for a middle which is most definitely distinctly masculine. Maybe
[name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]?
[name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_m]Hector[/name_m]
All of the options in the OP sound like girls names options to me, IMO
Sorry!!
I actually prefer [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_u]Haven[/name_u] for a boy! I think it’s really nice!
These combos aren’t my style, but [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] Ohanian’s middle name is [name_u]Kerry[/name_u] so I guess it can be done. I personally would pair [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] with a solidly masculine middle name though.
