Too Many A's!

I haven’t written here in so long! In [name_u]March[/name_u] I had my baby boy, [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. But as an avid name lover most of my life, I’m already thinking about sibling names! I’m not expecting currently or even wanting to be pregnant so soon but I can’t help but think about it!

My current problem is that all of my favorite names start with A. Some people like when all of their children having matching letters but I’ve never been that person. My partner and I have already decided that if we have a boy next, his name will be [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and a girl will be [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]. We absolutely can NOT agree on anything else.

I know we have time to decide but my question is… To those that the same letter thing bothers them, would you have three kids with all the same letters if you really loved the names? All their initials would be AAD! I don’t know what I’d do.
Thanks!

Those names are gorgeous, but personally I’d look for something else.

I think it depends on the situation. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you plan on three children? Or only two? If I was planning on two, I’d be a bit less concerned about it. Especially with the middles though, it’s very A heavy.

Nearly all the names on my list are A or L names ([name_m]Apollo[/name_m], [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f], [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], [name_f]Annabell[/name_f], [name_f]Leona[/name_f], [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f], [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m], [name_m]Louis[/name_m], [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], etc).

With my second we are discounting anything with repeating L sounds ([name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Lilah[/name_f], [name_f]Luella[/name_f], etc). I’d strong prefer to avoid another L name all together, but I would still use some if SO and I really agree and both loved it.

Tbh, I’m trying to avoid L heavy names all together. Like [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Arielle[/name_f], etc. I just want more of a variety of sounds when saying my daughter’s names.

Honestly, The first names all starting with A doesn’t really bother me, But giving them all an A middle name too is a little too much. I think if you’re going to give them all [name_m]AD[/name_m] initials, you should at least mix it up in the middle spot- plus in my personal experience, middles are a lot easier to compromise on than firsts
again just my opinion
