Too many Bell’s?

I have a daughter named Campbell who we call Cam and Belle. I’m pregnant with my 2nd girl and considering the name Isabelle. But is Campbell and Isabelle too many belles?

I do think it’s too much, sorry, especially since you already call your older daughter [name_f]Belle[/name_f]!

I think it is, maybe you might like [name_f]Isadora[/name_f]? Like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] but you can have [name_u]Cam[/name_u] / [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Izzie[/name_f] / [name_u]Isa[/name_u] / [name_f]Dora[/name_f]!

Yes. Other ideas:

[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Callista[/name_f] (both start with a C, and [name_f]Callista[/name_f] means beautiful like Belle)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Isadora[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] (Both have a southern belle / southern sweet vibe, and [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] has a similar length / sound and vibe to [name_f]Belle[/name_f], and the same meaning as [name_f]Belle[/name_f], and is somehow a wordy name like Belle)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] (Elspeth is a variant of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] like Isabelle)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] “Jo” (Josephine is a very [name_u]French[/name_u] and elegant, long, classic but a bit vintage name yet modern and trendy like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], and has a gender neutral chic nickname like Jo)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Isabeau[/name_f] (Isabeau is a [name_u]French[/name_u] medieval variant of Isabelle)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] (similar modern cool sounds like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], and similar letters and syllables too)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] (the o ending is such spunky and a punch of bold sounds, maturely feminine but goes great with Campbell).
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_u]Flannery[/name_u] (two double letters, both gender neutral and with a cool yet boho chic)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_u]Vision[/name_u] (both bold and boho, a bit maverick-ish particular but gender neutral and with their own little courageous vibe! Yet suit perfectly two sisters)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (Scarlett O’Hara feels like the epithome of this [name_u]Southern[/name_u] chic.)
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Gisella[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Constance[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosina[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u] (Another [name_u]French[/name_u] name that feels also very American [name_f]Vintage[/name_f] or Modern [name_f]British[/name_f] - just like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]? And [name_u]Florence[/name_u] has cool nicknames like [name_f]Flo[/name_f], [name_u]Ren[/name_u], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], Rensie, [name_f]Flossie[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], Fleur…)

I think its fine is you give up calling her [name_f]Belle[/name_f], which would depend on age I guess. [name_u]Or[/name_u] if you want to call [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]. I don’t think a [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and an [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] will work.

I think it could work if it’s the name for you and you can’t imagine naming her anything else I know siblings with names equally similar and it works for them but if you have another favorite you might rather use that one.

Since your older daughter gets called [name_f]Belle[/name_f], yes, I’d personally avoid [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. Is it unusable? No, not when you could lean more in to calling older daughter ‘Cam’, or [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] ‘Issy’ or ‘Izzy’, I just wouldn’t myself.

I second this viewpoint.

Other “I” options could potentially be [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] (already mentioned), [name_f]Iscah[/name_f], [name_f]Irma[/name_f]

Yes, I think so.

I agree. Maybe since your older daughter’s name is [name_u]Campbell[/name_u], you could give your next child a surname from the family, like the mother’s, a grandmother’s or a great-grandmother’s maiden name, as his or her given name.

I think so, especially as you use [name_f]Belle[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_u]Campbell[/name_u]. Would file under ‘fine as a middle’ though.

Too many ‘bell’s absolute! Maybe you’d like [name_u]Isa[/name_u] or [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] as a sister to [name_u]Campbell[/name_u]?

[name_f]My[/name_f] sister’s middle name is our mother’s maiden name.
