I’m currently 29 weeks with twins (gender unknown) and thought we had our name combinations all sorted but now I’m having second thoughts about our boy/boy combo. For boy/girl we have [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f], for girl/girl we have [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. For boy/boy the two names we like are [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] but now I’m starting to have doubts and worry that they’re too similar? What do other people think?
I think they are matchy, but that’s okay. They have a different number of syllables, and the vowel sounds are different. However if you’re uncomfortable with them there’s still time to change.
Let’s look at the similarities:
•They both have two sets of double letters
•Start with E
• End with “tt”
•sound alike
A little to matchy matchy in my opinion perhaps:
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_m]Beckett[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_m]Anders[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]Luka[/name_m]/[name_m]Luke[/name_m]/[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m]
