Too much L sound?

What do you think of the girl’s name [name_f]Orla[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u]

I like the name [name_f]Orla[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u]. Another name that popped into my mind is [name_f]Orly[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u]. I just think it flows well.

[name_u]Unique[/name_u] and cute…

Cute and unique…

That actually flows really well. I wouldn’t worry about the repeating L sound whatsoever.

I think it works. Very cute. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Orla[/name_f]

I don’t think there’s anything to worry about. It’s lovely.

I am not a fan of [name_f]Orla[/name_f]- it has a LOT of potential for teasing; if you swap the L and the A you get “oral”…I wouldn’t give that name to my daughter.

[name_u]Lake[/name_u] is a lovely middle name, though. I just would be concerned about the first name itself, not its flow with the middle.

I think [name_f]Orla[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u] is beautiful.

[name_f]Orla[/name_f] sounds like Orca to me and if she tends to be a bit chubby she can be compared to a whale. :frowning:
The transition does indeed bother me. I would not use this name.

To be completely honest it is too L heavy for me but you probably won’t be calling her [name_f]Orla[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u] on the daily so I don’t think it matters much.
