I’ve always loved the named [name]Lucy[/name] and it’s not even an uncommon name that people would want to dislike because it’s unusual.
However my name is [name]Susan[/name] (no,there are no [name]Edmunds[/name] or Peters in the extended family) so would it be weird if I named a future daughter [name]Lucy[/name]?
Of course I don’t plan to have kids for a while,so my taste in names might change a little, but I’m curious. Would that be too much [name]Narnia[/name] for one family? Especially because I’m not opposed to naming a son [name]Henry[/name] [name]Caspian[/name]? I didn’t pick [name]Lucy[/name] purposely for the [name]Narnia[/name] connection although if I named a son [name]Henry[/name] [name]Caspian[/name](I do like [name]Caspian[/name] for the [name]Narnia[/name] connection) it would appear that way.
That is ‘a lot of [name]Narnia[/name]’ but I don’t think it matters! [name]Lucy[/name] is a simple, classic and beautiful name, and [name]Henry[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] is a stunning combo. I don’t think there is a problem unless by chance their father’s name is [name]Edmund[/name]
Thank you everyone for your help! I do love C.S. [name]Lewis[/name]/The Chronicles of [name]Narnia[/name] so I don’t mind the connection, but I was curious if it was overkill.
I think people might see you as “obsessed” and so it’s really a matter of how comfortable you are with people thinking you’re “obsessed” with [name]Narnia[/name].
I think it’s fine seeing as how my grandma named my dad and his siblings [name]Todd[/name] [name]Michael[/name], [name]Russell[/name] [name]John[/name], and [name]Wendy[/name]. [name]Michael[/name], [name]John[/name], and [name]Wendy[/name] are from [name]Peter[/name] [name]Pan[/name].
