Loving on the name [name_u]Theo[/name_u] for our newest little boy. However, we want to use the family name of [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] as his middle name and out last name rhymes with box. Is that too much “o” sound?
I don’t think so. I think having a similar sound in each name helps ground the combo. I think it often helps with flow. At least my ears like it. For example my Anneline [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Fable[/name_u] and [name_m]Piers[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] combos. Some people would say there are too many L sounds, I think the Ls make them flow very nicely.
I don’t think it’s too much. Flows fine to me.
I love [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]! It rolls right off the tongue perfectly!
I think it’s great!
[name_m]Even[/name_m] though there are repeating “O” sounds in [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], they aren’t too bad, and it looks like you’ve found the name, so go for it! And if your last name rhymes with box, then it’s a different “O” sound than in [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] anyway. If it really bothered you, you could use [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] as a full name to add an extra syllable in between the “O” sounds.
