I’ve been loving [name_f]Moon[/name_f] as a middle name lately. One of my favorite bands named their baby girl [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] a few months ago and I’ve been loving it ever since (I know [name_f]Pink[/name_f] just named her son [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] but I prefer it for a girl.) I really like the way [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] looks and sounds but I kinda think since [name_f]Leila[/name_f] means “night” it might be too much or a little silly? WDYT?
Not at all! Most people probably aren’t even going to know the meaning of [name_f]Leila[/name_f]. I personally think it’s cool her name would subtly go together like that. [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] is a lovely combo.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] is very sweet. Outside of this community, I wouldn’t bet on everyone looking up the meaning of [name_f]Leila[/name_f]!
Sorry, I think its too much.
I agree. Others won’t immediately notice the connection, and it’s a lovely name.
I think it’s really cute
I quite like [name_f]Moon[/name_f] as a middle name. I don’t think [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] would be silly. Most people in the [name_u]West[/name_u] don’t know the meaning of [name_f]Leila[/name_f], plus middle names are rarely known outside of the family anyway.
I like it. It works really well.
I really like it!!
I think subtle connections like that are fine! A more literal name such as [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] or [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] might raise eyebrows, but most of the population will never know that [name_f]Leila[/name_f] means night. [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] is a darling combination, I love it! Though I do prefer the [name_f]Layla[/name_f] spelling over [name_f]Leila[/name_f]-I think it’s slightly more intuitive for the pronounciation.
I think [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] is lovely!
