So by the response to my last post, people seem to like [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] the best of our two choices, and I do too. But here’s the kicker, our last name is Sparks.
So [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Sparks…too much?
I quite like it! It’s different but cheerful and the middle name is very conventional which gives the child choice if they desire as they grow.
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] Sparks! Sounds like the main character of a book and I actually love that. And [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is such a gorgeous combination!
I love it!
[name_u]Unique[/name_u] and fun. And if she wants something a bit more conventional when she’s older she can go by [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or one of its many nicknames. I love the sound of [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] Sparks though. You can’t help but smile when you say it. I also love [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f] Sparks from the previous post. Either one is great.
Thanks for the positive feedback:)
Thank you! We are having a tough time deciding.
I don’t think it’s too much. Your surname is one of those that I’m sure makes things a challenge. It does help a bit if you would end up calling her [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], or another diminutive but there is nothing over-the-top with [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] Sparks.
I’m not a fan. It seems enough like a comic book super hero to be a bit tacky, and I can’t picture the name [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] on an adult or a professional. I strongly suggest picking a more formal name and nicknaming her [name_u]Sunny[/name_u].
It sounds awesome!
I do think it sounds a bit like a comic book character’s name. I’m not sure I’d say it’s “too much” though. It’ll definitely be memorable which may serve her well!
I agree that it sounds like a book characters name, and I really like it!
I think its sweet and spunky. Definitely not too much.
Thank you everyone for the feedback! It’s very encouraging!
