I don’t think it sounds old lady-ish at all! In fact, I think [name]Stella[/name] [name]Gold[/name] is really pretty. I love the first name [name]Stella[/name], and to me, it sounds the opposite of old lady-ish — it sounds fresh, fun, and creative. I also love the meaning of [name]Stella[/name], which is “star.” Gorrrrrgeous. Go for it!

No, not at all. If anything, I hear it more on new babies than I ever heard on an older person. [name]Love[/name] [name]Stella[/name]!

[name]Stella[/name] seems very young and fresh to me. Not old lady at all!

The only [name]Stella[/name] I know is someone my grandma’s age, and she comes across as quite stuck-up at times, so I do have the old lady association with the name.

I love [name]Stella[/name]. It doesn’t sound old to me. I am yet to meet one and I work in a very large public school. I wish my husband would love this name…

[name]Stella[/name] is an old fashioned name, in an “old is new” kind of way.
I was teaching grade 1 and my kids LOVED the [name]Stella[/name] books, so I do think of that now, since I don’t know any Stellas in real life. My grandmother’s sister’s name was [name]Stella[/name], but I didn’t know her so she isn’t my first thought.

I love it! My grandmother’s name was [name]Estella[/name], and I’m hoping to use it if I have a daughter one day.

The only [name]Stella[/name] I know is a toddler! I think it is a name that has already turned the corner from old fashioned to fresh and new. “[name]Ella[/name]” names are very current. I don’t think anyone would bat an eye at using [name]Stella[/name] for a baby.

I have an Aunt [name]Stella[/name] in her 70’s but I know far more baby [name]Stella[/name]'s, it seems to be having a revival and very fresh at the moment. Perhaps designer [name]Stella[/name] McCartney brought it back into the limelight?

I have never heard of a Grandma called [name]Stella[/name]. I think it sounds rather young and energetic.

[name]Stella[/name] [name]Gold[/name] is an awesome name! She sounds like a glamourous old-school movie star, like [name]Clara[/name] [name]Bow[/name]. I’ve never met a [name]Stella[/name], but I don’t think it’s old-lady at all.

Far from it.

A) No such thing as “too old lady”.

B) [name]Stella[/name] is a great choice and does not sound geriatric.

No, not at all! I think [name]Stella[/name] is charming and spunky and fresh.

I love the name [name]Stella[/name], and consider it a very spunky and lovable name that in no one is old-ladyish.

Absolutely not.

I think of [name]Stella[/name] McCartney and she’s definitely NOT an old lady.

I don’t think it’s too old lady.
I however always think of the Beer before I think of anything else.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Stella[/name] and [name]Estella[/name]! You will literally have your own “gold star”!

[name]How[/name] is [name]Stella[/name] an old lady name? (might just be me who totally don’t see it, perhaps because I loathe when names that aren’t [name]Ruth[/name] or [name]Gertrude[/name] are labelled “old lady names” :D)
