Too over the top?

Another name we like is [name]Galatea[/name]. I love the way it looks and sounds but is it too over the top? Too pretentious? There also aren’t many nickname options- maybe [name]Tea[/name] pronounced tay-uh. That’s pretty I think.

What do you guys think? And what middle names do you like with it? I like more unusual/spunky names in the middle. For instance, while I love the name [name]Elizabeth[/name] and think it is beautiful it’s a little bit too “normal” for us to go in the middle.

But who knows? Maybe since [name]Galatea[/name] is so unusual a more normal middle name would be more suiting. Let me know what you think!

Yeah. I’d say it’s definitely too over the top. I think the only place people will have heard of it is from [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name]. If you do go with it, a nice, classic middle would work:

[name]Galatea[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Galatea[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Galatea[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Galatea[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
