DH and I like the names [name_u]Banks[/name_u] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Banks[/name_u] for a girl. putting aside if you personally like them or not, I’m worried this pairing sounds too grand/wordy/over the top. what do you think?
I don’t think these names are too “grand”
I do think these names sound over the top, but they’re usable
I think these names are too strong to use together
I like the names! I don’t think they’re too grand. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Banks[/name_u]/Banks [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] makes me think of an elegant woman in high heels walking through a city, it sounds so cool.
I think [name_u]Banks[/name_u] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a phenomenal and outstanding combination! And this is from someone who doesn’t personally like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] usually
Ever the unpopular opinion on here, I personally wouldn’t name a child [name_u]Banks[/name_u], especially not a girl. I may be biased because my husband works for a bank. Since [name_m]Bank[/name_m] is a word, it can set itself up for some associations (which may not be so great…) piggy bank, sperm bank, word bank, etc. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is very pretty though.
I definitely think they are both strong names, but not so much that they are unusable together! I’m not a huge fan of [name_u]Banks[/name_u] as a first name (probably because I’m not used to it, it could probably grow on me) but I love it as a middle name - [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Banks[/name_u] is wonderful!
I don’t think they are too over the top. [name_f]My[/name_f] preference is [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Banks[/name_u]. I love long flowy names with lots of nickname potential
I really like the name [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] I think it’s a beautiful classic name that doesn’t feel to grand at all. [name_u]Banks[/name_u] I’m unsure on but I can see the appeal the name has a jazzy undertone I do have a preference for [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Banks[/name_u]
