I like the names [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Violet[/name], specifically [name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. For a baby girl hopefully born in spring 2013, will they be too popular?
[name]Both[/name] names are certainly moving up, but I don’t think either is a “trendy” sort of name. They are both lovely and classic, and [name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is gorgeous! It really depends on your perception of popular… [name]Clara[/name] is #167 right now, and I don’t think it’s ever going to crack the top 10 or 20, or even 50. The name [name]Claire[/name] is #53 though.
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is lovely! I adore both names separately and they are so pretty together. For me, they’re not too popular but I would use some names in the top 10. I haven’t ever met a [name]Clara[/name] or a [name]Violet[/name], so I think they’re still obscure enough. 
[name]Violet[/name] is my DD’s name, and I strongly considered naming her [name]Clara[/name], so naturally I think both are stunning. Very classy, sweet and feminine. They’re both familiar, but not overly common or popular. We have yet to meet another [name]Violet[/name] [name]IRL[/name], and the only [name]Clara[/name] we know is in her 30’s. I say go for it, its a beautiful combo!
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is a lovely name. I think [name]Violet[/name] is getting popular, [name]Clara[/name] not as much, but they won’t be mega popular by the time the baby’s born
I know a couple of Violets (all under 5) but have never met a [name]Clara[/name]. With [name]Violet[/name] as the middle rather than the first I think you’re pretty safe!
I love [name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name]! Such a pretty name - I don’t think either one is too popular. [name]Both[/name] are certainly trending upward - [name]Violet[/name] is likely to crack the Top 100 this year or next, and I’ve met several baby Violets lately, but I’ve yet to meet a [name]Clara[/name] of any age. Certainly won’t be on the level of, say, a little [name]Madison[/name], or even [name]Zoe[/name].
This is a very pretty name. It reminds me of a book I read when I was a teenager by [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Lia[/name] Block about two girls who were friends. The girls’ names were [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] and “[name]Violet[/name] & [name]Claire[/name]” was the title of the book.
[name]Love[/name] both!! [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] are both beautiful names. They are rising in popularity but I don’t think they are too popular. [name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is a great combo :0)
I love both names and adore them together. I am leaning towards [name]Violet[/name] as a middle name myself I do not think they will be too popular at all, plus they are both classic so it still wouldn’t come off as trendy if they did shoot up the charts.

I hear [name]Claire[/name] on occasion, but I rarely ever hear [name]Clara[/name] (here in Australia). I don’t think it’s too common (here) at all.
