Too rhymey?

I loved the name [name_m]Santino[/name_m]. I didn’t use it because of how it sounds with my last name Yacino, but now I have regrets… honestly… would you have used it or no?

I do think it’s too matchy, sorry! It sounds a bit silly when said together.

Too rhymey, which is a shame because [name_m]Santino[/name_m] has a very cool sound.

I think they are too matchy :frowning: but [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] Yacino sounds good!

I think you made the right call here–they would be too rhyme-y for my liking. But I’m really sorry you’re feeling regret about it, that’s tough. I do love @addyjqy’s suggestion of [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] or @Kipperbo1’s suggestion of [name_m]Santi[/name_m] as alternatives for a future baby!

Thank you! I went with the only other name I really loved… its not Italian but knox. Now I just worry if it doesn’t flow with my other kids names!

Unfortunately, they are too rhymey. You could use a variant of [name_m]Santino[/name_m], or put it as a middle name, if you do double middles.

Santino Yacino has the ino sound that makes it to matchy matchy. I agree with the other about [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] Yacino.

If you name him [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] you could probably get away with a nickname of [name_m]Santino[/name_m]
