we have a DS named beckett reed. he goes by “bee”. we are TTC #2. we really like the name beatrix for a girl, but is it too similar to beckett? i personally think they are too close, but just wanted to get a second opinion =) thanks!
That is a bit too close for my comfort - my family gets everyone mixed up if they share the same first letter though.

[name]Beatrix[/name] and [name]Beckett[/name] are two close for me, since they share many sounds (B, T, K) and [name]Beatrix[/name] can also shorten to [name]Bee[/name]…
Stylistically, [name]Beatrix[/name] isn’t really the best match for [name]Beckett[/name], in my opinion, though I do love both names…
While [name]Beatrix[/name] is a beautiful name I do think it’s too close with [name]Beckett[/name]. Would be a great middle name thou.
I feel it’s too close to [name]Beckett[/name], especially since [name]Bea[/name] is such a common nn for [name]Beatrix[/name]
