I have a little girl named [name]Matilda[/name]. [name]Just[/name] brainstorming names for the future.
I am really in love with the name [name]Greta[/name] right now. (Though most likely DH will HATE it, so the point is probably moot, but still…)
Are [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Greta[/name] too similar? I think its the da/ta ending that makes it seem a little matchy to me.
Too much with 2 germanic sounding names? Though [name]Greta[/name] seems more germanic and to be honest out in real life for [name]Matilda[/name] everybody just associates it with Australia.
My daughter’s name is [name]Greta[/name] and it’s my absolute favorite name! I don’t think they are too similar, though I am no name expert. I always get compliments on [name]Greta[/name]'s name. It fits a baby, toddler, and I think it will age and grow with her into a sophisticated adult. I strongly recommend [name]Greta[/name]!
