[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilish[/name_f] – too similar
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leda[/name_f] – too similar
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] – tough call but I think too similar
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dora[/name_f] – not too close
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] – not too close
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] – not too close
[name_m]Even[/name_m] the “too close” ones I think would be fine if they aren’t both first names.
Thanks for the input!
[name_f][/name_f]More info: they would both be first names, and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] goes exclusively by her full name.
Too close for sisters:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Eilish[/name_f], [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Leda[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]Not too close:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Dora[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Ada[/name_f]
Elizabeth and Eilish → at once too close (as Eilish is a form of Elizabeth) but also very mismatched? Ailish/Ailis/ AilĂs and Elizabeth instead?
Claudia and Leda → I think they work fine
Claudia and Dora → a little tongue-twister-y for me - but I guess it depends how you pronounce Claudia? KLOW-dee-uh (like klow rhyming with cow) or KLAW-dee-uh (klaw rhyming with saw)? Klow-dee-uh and Dora work, but klaw-dee-uh might be a bit much for me? Still maybe it’s just me
Elizabeth and Lily → I think they could work - so long as Elizabeth isn’t Lizzie, Billie or Libby
Elizabeth and Belle → fine to me, so long as Elizabeth isn’t Beth or Elle
Claudia and Ada → they work fine to me
Too close: [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilish[/name_f], [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]Could work: [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dora[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Dora[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Ada[/name_f] are fine.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Eilish[/name_f], [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Leda[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] are too similar.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilish[/name_f]- not so much too[name_f][/name_f] similar in sound, but completely different in style!
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leda[/name_f]- not too close if pronounced like layda but “ledda” is too similar
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dora[/name_f]- not too close
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f]- not too close in sound but since they’re variants of the same name, I wouldn’t use them
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f]- seems to close in theory if [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] went by [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] but I know sisters [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f] (Eliana/Isabella) and there aren’t any problems
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f]- If [name_f]Ada[/name_f] was a first name, it might be too similar, but as a nickname for Adeline/Adelaide/Adele, it would be absolutely fine!
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilish[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- spelling yes, pronounciation no
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leda[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- ahhh hate to say yes but yes
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dora[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- no
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- no, but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] could be a cute nn for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- no, though I’d prefer something like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I’m gonna say no because I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f] so much!
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilish[/name_f] → too similar in look and too different in vibe to me
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leda[/name_f] → too similar
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dora[/name_f] → OK
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] → too similar, since [name_f]Lily[/name_f] can be a nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] → same as with [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] → OK
Thanks for all the help! Obviously i like a lot of the same sounds:)
all are okay except [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Eilish[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f].
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilish[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- too close
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leda[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- too close
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dora[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- not problematic, but I wouldn’t put those names together.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- sounds good
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- sounds fine to me
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f]? [name_f][/name_f]- not problematic, but I wouldn’t put those names together.
For me, the only ones too close are [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilish[/name_f] and [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leda[/name_f] (although I suppose it matters how [name_f]Leda[/name_f] is said… I say lay dah. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_m]Lee[/name_m] dah isn’t as bad in my head but either way is probably a little too much for me.
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Leda[/name_f] and [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Dora[/name_f] pair well together! I think [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Ada[/name_f] could also be a great option.
[name_f][/name_f]I’d avoid [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilish[/name_f] since they’re variants of the same name. Similarly, [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is often a nickname for [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], which are also related to [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I’m unsure about [name_f]Lily[/name_f], as [name_f]Lilibeth[/name_f] is a sweet diminutive of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as well.
